This internship experience served as an hands-on lesson in account planning during my Senior year for my account planning course. I was responsible for gathering and analyzing industry competition and creating recommendations for our clients. 

I supported Senior Account Planners with secondary and primary research for various clients in the QSR, and retail industries. The research was communicated with my superiors, and other agency teams, through powerpoint decks, email newsletters, and POV's.

Solving technical problems comes naturally to me and I excelled in this position. What started as an internship developed into a temp position. I learned IT infrastructure and planning hands-on and supported daily operations to keep agency employees up and running. My organization and methodical operation was my key to success in the position.

Duties included responding to IT Help Desk tickets, provisioning computers, and maintaining network infrastructure.

What started as my first part-time job when I was 16 became a twelve year career.

My passion, excitement and enjoyment for technology led me to a sales position that began with digital cameras and moved to computers, home-theater and appliances. I delivered excellent customer service by recommending solutions to fit customer's lifestyles while driving sales goals.

My eye for product placement and merchandising led to a two year, visual merchandising tenure as Project Team Specialist traveling the country to set up new stores and remodeling existing ones.

Following the opening of the high-end flagship store in San Antonio, I worked with a team of eight associates as a Personal Shopping Assistant in a highly focused strategy to appeal to a specific customer base as a unique selling proposition. I provided personalized service as a single-point-of-contact for shoppers throughout the entire sales process and maintained a customer relationship database.
